About Mad City Vettes (MCV)

Mad City Vettes is a Corvette Club based in the Madison, WI area and consists of a group of Corvette Enthusiasts who have a common interest in participating in events centered around the Corvette. Events include car shows, parades, charity functions, road cruises, road rallyes, autocross racing, caravans and many other fun events. This is a car club established to promote the Corvette and have fun!!!  MCV has members from all areas of Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. When you own a Corvette, you are never too far away to join Mad City Vettes.

There are currently about 140 members of Mad City Vettes of various ages, backgrounds, singles, couples, those who know everything about Corvettes and those who just love to drive Corvettes with their friends. Members’ Corvettes range from those driven daily to work and others that are show cars and those that compete in the sport of Autocross. We welcome you to the club and invite you to visit us during one of our many events. See the Event Calendar for upcoming events and feel free to join us. Monthly club meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month and Guests are always welcome.

Mad City Vettes was established in 1999 at the Bowling Green Bowling Alley in Middleton, WI by several enthusiastic Corvette owners led by Paul and Cindy Dowding. Mad City Vettes is a member of the Midwest Region (MWR) of the National Council of Corvette Clubs (NCCC). Dues paid to Mad City Vettes include membership in the local club and a portion is paid to NCCC for national membership. NCCC provides insurance coverage to members participating in events and access to many national events across the United States. The MWR consists of NCCC clubs in the states of Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois.

  Cars Curing Kids
Cars Curing Kids is a group of car collectors and auto enthusiasts who are committed to supporting research and programs for childhood diseases at the American Family Children’s Hospital. The group was founded by Dr. Peter Nichol, a pediatric surgeon at the Children's Hospital when he was inspired by one of his patients: McKenah.

  Carbone Cancer Center
The University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center is recognized throughout the Midwest and the nation as one of the leading innovators in cancer research, quality patient care and active community involvement. UW Carbone Cancer Center is the only comprehensive cancer center in Wisconsin, as designated by the National Cancer Institute.   JDRF Research 
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
- JDRF is the leading global organization funding T1D research. Millions of people around the world live with type 1 diabetes (T1D), a life-threatening autoimmune disease that strikes both children and adults. There is no way to prevent it, and at present, no cure. JDRF works every day to change this by amassing grassroots support, deep scientific knowledge and strong industry and academic partnerships to fund research.

Mad City Vettes is a non-profit 501 (c) (7) organization. Donations to Mad City Vettes may be tax deductible.

Club Meetings

Monthly Membership Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Holiday Inn Madison at the American Center, 5109 W Terrace Dr in Madison, WI. Membership Meetings start at 7:00 PM.
All corvette owners, family members and interested enthusiasts are invited to attend the General Membership Meeting and any Mad City Vettes event. Please check the Event Calendar for the next activity. Some are far and most are near. We are always having fun, sharing laughs and enjoying our Corvettes.

Virtual Board Meetings are held at 6:30 PM on the 3rd Monday of every month.

Membership
To join Mad City Vettes (MCV), go to ‘Member Signup’ tab on the Menu Bar. Each member needs to sign up as either a ‘Primary Corvette Owner’ or ‘Spouse or Co-member’. Prospective members must be at least 18 years of age. The club year runs from January 1 through December 31. 

Dues for new members are $65 for a single and $80 for couples. Dues for renewing members are $55 for a single and $70 for couples. All membership dues include the NCCC dues.

National Corvette Museum
Mad City Vettes is a member of the National Corvette Museum - The National Corvette Museum showcases the Chevrolet Corvette, an American sports car that has been in production since 1953. It is in Bowling Green, Kentucky, off Interstate 65's Exit 28. It was constructed in 1994 and opened to the public in September of that year.

National Council of Corvette Clubs
Mad City Vettes members automatically join NCCC with their dues. The National Council of Corvette Clubs, Inc. (NCCC) was founded in the United States as an all-volunteer, non-profit organization in 1959 by a small group of Corvette owners/enthusiasts! In 2009 NCCC celebrated its 50th Anniversary and looks forward to many more years of fellowship. The purpose of NCCC was (and still is) to promote interest in Corvette ownership and operation, to publish information on the use and operation of the Corvette and to establish an organized effort to encourage others to participate in the enjoyment connected with the use and ownership of the Corvette ~ America's Sports Car! As an NCCC member, you will receive a magazine titled Blue Bars Quarterly. Blue Bars is full of club activities (nationwide) and information about the greatest car ever built! Liability insurance for club events is also provided by NCCC to its member clubs.

Mad City Vettes is in the Midwest Region (MWR) of NCCC which currently serves about 2,500 Members in 27 Corvette Clubs in the States of Illinois and Minnesota and Wisconsin.
