I’m sure most of you have dusted off the Vettes and made a couple runs so you are already set for the 22nd annual rollout party. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, June 12, with Sunday, June 13 as the rain date. Last year, we changed things up a bit with a later date and dessert only at the end of the run and it was a hit. Who am to argue with success. So it’s still the rollout party… just a little later and with a sweet treat at the end of the run.

The run will begin in New Glarus and will be two hours of scenic country driving. We will rally at the New Glarus High School soccer fields parking lot. To get there, go through New Glarus (if you are coming from the North) and turn right on Highway H by the Monroe Clinic. Turn Left if you are coming from the south. Take the first right off of H and you will see the high school and parking lots ahead of you. Start arriving around 1:30pm. We’ll have the requisite drivers meeting at 1:55pm and depart promptly at 2:00pm. We will have turn by turn instructions with mileage to help you during the drive. There is a Culvers very close by as well as a gas station so please remember to fill your tank and empty your bladder because we do not plan on any stops.

Please join us. Cindy and I love hosting this unique event. It's a great opportunity for new and current members to meet and talk in an open and welcoming environment. Dessert, which is pretty awesome, will be provided at the end of the run by Cindy and I. There is no charge for this event and unlike in past years, you do not need to register. Just show up and be ready to have a great time. The only things you need to bring are a chair, something to drink and a smile. We provide the dessert and water.

One last note. If you are sick, please stay home. Since the CDC has announced that masks are no longer required for outdoor gatherings, we are not requiring them. If you want to wear one, please feel free to do so but it is not required for attendance. Our apologies if this makes you uncomfortable and keeps you away. We will look forward to seeing you next year.
